There was a minor upset when 16th ranked SlovakianSlovan (1-4) lost to eighteenth ranked Belgian Circus Brussels (1-3) in Bratislava 66-72 on Tuesday. It was an exceptional evening for American guard Demetric Horton (196, college: NC A&T, agency: Players Group) who led the winners and scored 12 points and 6 rebounds. Louis Hazard (198-1994) accounted for 14 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) for the winning side. Four Circus Brussels players scored in double figures. Circus Brussels' coach used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Canadian Shamiel Stevenson (198-1998, college: Nebraska, agency: Octagon Europe) came up with 20 points and 6 rebounds and American point guard Lester Medford Jr (184-1993, college: Baylor, agency: BIG) added 15 points and 5 assists respectively for Slovan in the defeat. Circus Brussels left bottom position moving up to seventh place, which they share with Gimle and Kapfenberg. It was Slovan 's third loss in a row. They dropped to the seventeenth position with four games lost.
